I've been playing guitar since age 9! Here I am playing my first
Jr. High dance.

I started a group called "The Edsels," just out of college, to perform "Rock-A-Billy" music from the '50s. The band later expanded to include "Jump Blues" and went from a three piece to a blues-based quartet. The band continues on as the multiple-Sammie award winning group known as the "Hucklebucks."


"The Edsels" played a mixture of "Rock-A-Billy," surf, blues and even '60s TV show themes. (The Wild Wild West for one!) We did it with a sense of humor which I carry into all my shows, acoustic or electric.


Here we are at the Winters' Opera House, now "The Palms Playhouse."



The Edsels turned into a blues/swing outfit called "The Hucklebucks" and I played with them on quite a few of their early shows.
