How can an appearance by Elvis make your party or corporate event a big success?

A. By adding a live performance to an otherwise cerebral event, you can literally appeal to another side of a person's brain! Elvis can help get a message across, boost morale, or even just entertain! He can encourage people to explore their own "Inner Elvis." There is nothing quite like seeing Elvis himself come back from "The Great Beyond" and surprise people with his music and personality.

Q. What kinds of things do I need to tell you about when I call you?

A. Well, you can begin by telling me about the theme of your event. Why are you bringing people together? I will tailor my comments to your objective or theme as part of my act.

Q. Our event is over a year from now and I'm not sure where it will be yet, should I still call you?

A. Absolutely! Planning ahead only makes things that much easier. Having planned events myself professionally, I might be able to assist you in finding a perfect event venue.

Q. Do you have any special needs that I have to worry about? I'm afraid I'm not very technical.

A. Don't worry, I know way too much for both of us! My set up is simple. An old tube guitar amp and a microphone. I can determine the equipment necessary for a successful show as soon as I know where the event will be held. Most venues have sound equipment built in these days as well. For an additional fee, I can also bring my own sound equipment to fit the room.

Q. Why should I hire you over my neighbor down the street? He thinks he is Elvis...

A. Humm...I'm sorry to hear that! Well, I was the founding member of the successful 50's band "The Edsels". I have a Masters Degree in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco, and a BA degree in Mass Communications from UC Davis. I also have a Certificate In Marketing and Public Relations from UC Davis Extension. I do events, marketing, and organizational development as part of my "day job." I guess this doesn't specifically qualify me to be an Elvis impersonator, but combined with my musical background, it helps!

Q. OK, I'm interested! So, how much do you charge?

A. Please get in touch with me for your quote. Because of many factors, every show is a little different. Some people just need an "Elvis" look-a-like for a meet and greet, others want the music. It also matters where and when your event will be held. After looking at many other Elvis Impersonators rates, (the ones who sing to a tape) I do promise that my fees are fair and you will get your money's worth!
