At NAMM I hear, "Hey Elvis!" It's Gene Simmons shooting his reality TV show. He called me over for a chat. I surprised him with my story of coming "Back from the great beyond." The production folks said it might be on in August on the Arts and Entertainment Channel.

John Hiatt at the Crest Theater in Sacramento CA. Link to John's web site
I met up with John Hiatt recently at the Crest Theater in Sacramento. His solo shows are like a revival meeting. The man is an absolute genius as a song writer. He wrote "Riding with the King" sung by Eric Clapton and BB King.

Link to Skip Simmons Amp Repair Site
I have this pretty cool Victoria Vintage 35310 amp which is kept in impecable condition by none other than Skip Simmons. Skip is the king of tube amp repairmen.  He is the only tube amp technician I trust with my precious gear. He can actually improve the sound of even a new "Vintage Reissue" tube amp. For you recording geeks, check out his super retro modified PA heads!
